David is a psychotherapist (Licensed in Florida). He specializes in working with adults who have chronic pain (mind-body, TMS, PPD, etc.) that is medically unexplained, such as back/neck pain and Fibromyalgia, and that is not getting better with conventional medical/physical treatments. Research has shown that this type of chronic pain may be caused by emotional and psychological factors, which can include past childhood trauma. Having personally experienced this type of chronic pain, and recovered from it, he is able to understand and empathize, on a deeper level, with his clients who may be struggling with this issue.

He is also a Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist and specializes in working with adults who have experienced childhood trauma, or Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs).  He is trained in EMDR, Pain Reprocessing Therapy, and in Forward Facing Trauma Therapy. These treatments and approaches have proven to be very effective in helping people heal from the effects of their childhood trauma, decrease their symptoms of anxiety and depression, and improve their overall quality of life. He strongly believes in the mind-body connection and in a holistic approach to counseling/coaching.
