NPR Morning Edition interviewed Mark Lumley, PhD about Emotional Awareness and Expression Therapy (EAET), which was co-developed by Dr. Lumley and PPDA Co-Founder Howard Schubiner, MD.
EAET was included in a report from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services titled "Pain Management Best Practices." According to the report, published May 9, 2019 "Research indicates that EAET has a positive impact on pain intensity, pain interference, and depressive symptoms."
