Erkan Onurlu, DDS, DABOP

As an oral and facial pain specialist at Texas TMJ & Pain Management, I help patients who suffer from chronic and debilitating conditions such as headaches, jaw pain, nerve pain, and muscle pain. I am a diplomate of the American Board of Orofacial Pain, which is the highest level of certification in this field. I have over 15 years of experience as a dentist, with a background in general dentistry and oral surgery.

My passion for orofacial pain and sleep medicine stems from my desire to provide comprehensive and evidence-based care to patients who often struggle to find effective solutions for their complex and multifactorial problems. I completed my residency at UCLA, where I learned from leading experts in the field and gained exposure to a variety of clinical cases and research projects. I also spent a year as a visiting scholar at NYU before my residency education. I am committed to staying updated on the latest advances and best practices in this rapidly evolving specialty, and to educating and empowering my patients and colleagues on the importance of addressing orofacial pain and sleep issues.
