Dr. Laurel Steinberg has a full-time clinical practice. She is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University & New York University and completed her clinical training at Columbia University, where she has also worked as a professor for many years. She completed all of the TMS "Master Class Trainings" in NY. Dr. Steinberg is a recovered TMS/PPD patient, as is her father, both of whom were Dr. John Sarno’s patients decades ago. Their overwhelming success inspired her to focus her practice on the assessment and treatment of psychosomatic pain, and other associated physical and emotional symptoms. One of her favorite areas of expertise is the prevention of Migraine Headaches (she reports being 25+ years symptom free, which brings her tremendous happiness), though she has also enjoyed great success treating a variety of TMS symptoms. Dr. Steinberg has worked with many, many hundreds of TMS patients and it would give her great joy to be able to help you recover as well! While she is licensed to practice in NY and FL, she also enjoys working with patients in other locations, worldwide, in a coaching capacity.
