Sebastián is a licensed Physical Therapist from Buenos Aires University with 20 years of clinicalpractice and experience working on the reversal of chronic pain and symptoms associated withstress. He is dedicated daily to providing personalized care to patients of all ages who want to find a root solution to their persistent pain and other psychophysiological disorders such as gastrointestinal disorders, migraines, or symptoms without medical explanation.

He is currently part of an international and multidisciplinary research and dissemination team based in Spain, which aims to promote the bio-psycho-socio-spiritual paradigm in health, particularly in the treatment of chronic musculoskeletal pain.

He worked in conjunction with Encarna Espunya, a prestigious Spanish physiotherapist who was currently invited by the PPDA to speak in Spanish at the 2021 Congress.

He also gives group theoretical-practical seminars for patients with psycho-physiological disorders together with Dr. Lorena Frasier (a doctor trained in psychoneuroimmunoendocrinology of stress) in person in Buenos Aires city and also in online
format.

Sebastián taught since 2008 the concept of Dr. Sarno's TMS at the University of Buenos Aires and the Maimonides University. He taught classes on the mind-body relationship and the approach of Dr. Sarno for more than 6 years at Maimonides University through a new subject created for this purpose called "Psychosomatic Integration and New Paradigms."

The University of Buenos Aires officially declares in 2008 of interest an extra-curricular course on New paradigms in health that it teaches together with other health professionals in line with the new paradigms. The search for him began with a chronic neck pain that was diagnosed as two disc protrusions and that lasted for more than 15 years despite trying all available mechanical treatments. It was then when in 2004 he came across Dr. Sarno's books and began a new way of redefining his pain that led him to convince himself of the accuracy of the mind-body concept described as TMS by the good Dr. Sarno.

The search expands over the years and discovers the books and seminars of Dr. Howard Schubiner by whom he is particularly inspired, also the contributions of Dr. David Schecter, Dr. Scott Brady and other popular popularizers such as Georgi Oldfield and S. Orzanich among others.

In 2009 he contacted Dr. David Schecter who agreed to have the “Mindbody Workbook” translated into Spanish by Argentine ́s professional translators and reviewed by Sebastián himself, which is still accessible on Dr. Schecter's own page.

Despite the low acceptance of a Mind-body approach in the Argentine academic environment, Sebastián continues tirelessly studying and applying the concepts of Dr. Sarno along with other tools such as Mindfulness, EFT and Focusing among others. He focuses his treatment programs on Neuro-education, Journaling and stress regulation techniques and mind-body connection in face-to-face and tele-medicine formats (online via zoom preferably)
