Additional Tips:
Being authentic: Being authentic is the most important thing. If you're nervous about being on camera and feel you need to portray yourself as someone you're not, don't worry. Just talk as you normally would. Don't try to be anyone that you're not; be your true authentic self. Authenticity will shine through the camera and create a genuine connection with your audience, rather than trying to adopt a different personality that you think you need to be.
Recording without stress: When recording the video, don't worry about the different times you breathe, say "um," or stutter over your words. If you happen to stutter, just stop talking and re-record that line. Then, send me (Luke) the full unedited video. I'll handle cutting the video and making it look coherent. You don't need to deliver it all perfectly in one take. Just deliver all the lines, look at your script or notes if needed, then look back at the camera and continue. Make sure all lines are recorded.
Background and Environment: Ensure you have a clean, uncluttered background and record in a quiet environment to maintain good sound quality. Look directly at the camera while speaking to create a connection with your audience.
