Yonit "Dr. Yo" Arthur is on a mission to help people with chronic dizziness, vertigo and balance problems get strong and steady. She has a doctorate in Audiology from Purdue University and is board-certified through the American Board of Audiology. Dr. Yo holds Vestibular Rehabilitation, Concussion and Advanced Vestibular Rehabilitation certifications through the American Institute of Balance. She is also a Certified Functional Strength Coach (Level 2), certified strength coach and personal trainer. She is a member and volunteer of the Vestibular Disorders Association (VeDA) and serves on several of their committees developing educational content for patients and reaching out to donors. She has created and hosts a completely free, comprehensive course for people suffering from chronic dizziness (accessible at https://members.thesteadycoach.com) and also has a YouTube channel, The Steady Coach, where she publishes free educational videos for patients with chronic vestibular and dizziness disorders. In her spare time, you can find her in her garage lifting weights with her husband or chasing her two young daughters.
